Bay City Association for the Academically Talented

This parent group is a non-profit organization founded to support the Elementary Gifted and Talented program.
Currently the BCAAT organization holds two fundraisers to support enrichment activities in the gifted and talented classrooms. The enrichment activities include but are not limited to:
- Field Trips
- Speakers
- Other various materials
The BCAAT Organization is also working to:
- Create a network of contacts within the Gifted and Talented student families to serve as support for one another.
- Supporting families by providing information regarding raising and advocating for gifted students.
- Provide an organized voice for the members of the BCAAT organization as we strive to meet the needs of the gifted and talented in the Bay City Public Schools.
Membership to the BCAAT organization is open to:
- All parents and legal guardians of those students enrolled in the Gifted and Talented Programs
- Bay City Public School Teachers assigned to teaching in the Gifted and Talented Program
- Elementary School Administrators at Kolb, Hampton, and McAlear-Sawden
- Director of the Gifted and Talented Program
Associate Membership is open to any other interested party.
